This quaint village sits on a bluff overlooking the Northwest Bay of Lake Champlain. Directly across from Westport is the Basin Harbor Club in Vermont. Jutting into the lake on the north is the rocky, pine covered Northshore, that ends at the pallisade cliffs and some of the lake's deepest water. South of Westport along route 9N are the old iron ore towns of Port Henry and Moriah.
